This is a process focused art piece. Starting with a wash of reds and yellows, I covered the canvas. Textures were developed by layering stencils, and a wildflower scene emerged. Deep black shadows and white highlights brought out new dimension and created a narrative among the wildlife. This piece will bring the warmth of summer to any room.
