It’s Me! Holly V

This is me, Holly V, and my boys.

It’s so nice to meet you! If you haven’t figured it out yet, my name is Holly Vedder. I like humor in my life and have a tendency to use colorful language, so if that isn’t for you, click here for a polite professional version. I am an educated woman with a BFA from Michigan State University. For those of you who believe Fine Arts majors are doomed to live a life of squalor, stop being so damn judgmental and get a reality check. For the rest of you, thank you for being real. Anyways, I grew up in the suburbs of Metro Detroit, moved to the Pacific Northwest in my late 20’s, fell in love, had a baby, got married, and planted roots. (If you can’t appreciate a good run-on, go back a few sentences and re-read) I LOVE being a wife and mother. I thank the universe every day for my husband and son. They are supportive, loving, inspiring, and make every day of my life worthy of celebration. I spent 15 years working in the retail food service industry, which helped spawn the inspiration for my Sweet Treats Alphabet. I also love gardening, landscape design, and just being in nature. You will find an abundance of natural elements in my work. I thrive when I connect with others and create meaningful art worth celebrating. In my world, every day is a Holly Day.
